music: BYU VP’s ‘Nearer My God to Thee’

I’d never heard the ‘original’ Nearer, My God until several weeks ago, but I loved this version. That this is in a minor key, I think, adds so much musical depth, making it a heartrending statement of faith in spite of difficult circumstances, without minimising the sorrow therein.
